Some of them seem to involve missing jars which I manually pulled down and set as part of resolution but should those sorts of dependencies be addressed as part of the given project's build mechanism?[16:59:54] <sfisque> ebresie netbeans needs to resolve dependencies at edit time in order to do code completion and other "IDE features"[17:02:01] <ebresie> So when opening a project, netbeans doesn't do a "build project" type action during which is resolves the dependencies (i.e. mvn or gradle [or ant/ivy]? type action?[17:11:57] <ebresie> I seem to be getting a lot of "Slowness detected" any ideas about this?[17:12:49] <ebresie> Not sure if related but it does appear to be doing a lot of "background project scanning" at the same time so maybe its related.[17:22:51] <ebresie> ant -f C:\\git\\netbeans.dev\\incubator-netbeans\\extide\\o.apache.tools.ant.module -Djavac.includes=org/apache/tools/ant/module/api/IntrospectedInfoTest.java -Dtest.type=unit compile-test-single[17:22:52] <ebresie> init-tasks:[17:22:52] <ebresie> C:\git\netbeans.dev\incubator-netbeans\nbbuild\default.xml:31: taskdef class org.netbeans.nbbuild.JNLPUpdateManifestStartup cannot be found[17:22:52] <ebresie> using the classloader AntClassLoader[][17:22:52] <ebresie> BUILD FAILED (total time: 0 seconds)[17:23:40] <ebresie> Any idea?[17:24:32] <sfisque> ebresie sometimes it does, in the background. i am not clear on what triggers a background build, but i know it does occasionally (i do know that maven projects get built the first time they are opened to resolve deps).[17:34:43] <ebresie> Maybe a newbie netbeans (and/or ant) user question here, but on the github/readme file to build, it suggests "ant -Dcluster.config=full" to build everything. What is the way to do this within Netbeans itself?
