[16:34:27] <jlocker> KurtStam: ping
[16:34:40] <KurtStam> Morning Jiri
[16:34:43] <KurtStam> how are you?
[16:35:26] <jlocker> busy preparing for graduation :-) and you? whats new with juddi?
[16:37:28] <KurtStam> I was able to catch up on some sleep last night..
[16:37:46] <KurtStam> jUDDI-3.0.1 is up for vote on apache.
[16:38:04] <KurtStam> So far so good, so it should be official in about 48 more hours
[16:43:46] <jlocker> i'm trying to setup subscriptions and i found myself a bit lost :-) the way it is described in the user guide isn't very clear to me..
[16:44:45] <jlocker> i'd like to ask you for help and a few comments
[16:46:54] <KurtStam> ok
[16:47:10] <KurtStam> the issue is that things are deployed differently in JBoss
[16:47:40] <KurtStam> So I think it is best for you to try it out with 2 tomcat instances
[16:48:25] <KurtStam> then, when you get the hang of that, we should have a SOA-P build with jUDDI-3.0.1.
[16:48:58] <KurtStam> It simply does not work on SOA-P with the way it is deployed now.
[16:49:24] <jlocker> didn!t know that..
[16:49:25] <KurtStam> do you already have a build that runs on jUDDI-3.0.1?
[16:49:30] <jlocker> no
[16:49:44] <KurtStam> yeah Kev was not deploying all the WSs required
[16:50:43] <KurtStam> anyway; I will be writing another chapter in the docs about the differences in deployment between tomcat and jboss
[16:50:52] <jlocker> sounds good
[16:50:54] <KurtStam> and then I will also test subscriptions on jboss
[16:51:12] <KurtStam> which I simply have not been able to do yet
[16:52:09] <KurtStam> so I think following the subscription chapter with 2 tomcats will help you a lot
[16:52:22] <KurtStam> just from an understanding as to what is going on
[16:52:38] <jlocker> i see..
[16:52:49] <KurtStam> there is quite a lot going on...
[16:53:30] <KurtStam> I'm hoping to prepare some more examples running jboss
[16:53:36] <KurtStam> but that will prob be next week.
[16:54:41] <jlocker> that's fine, i'm too busy with the school anyway
[16:56:30] <jlocker> so, after i'm done, which will be the next wednesday, i'll try the two tomcats and then i'll be waitng for the jboss documentation
[16:58:00] <jlocker> one question though, is there a kind of workaround that would simulate subscription with just one registry?
[17:02:32] <jlocker> KurtStam: ?
[17:02:48] <KurtStam> k
[17:03:21] <KurtStam> we have a unittest that does this
[17:03:39] <KurtStam> UDDI_080 I believe
[17:03:51] <KurtStam> let me double check
[17:06:24] <KurtStam> y bth UDDI_80 and UDDI_90
[17:06:52] <KurtStam> if you want to do it from the console; you still have to setup the right clerks in the config
[17:07:24] <KurtStam> which I think will be too hard without have good docs on jBoss
[17:09:27] <jlocker> ok, i'll wait until then.. thx and bye!
