[12:30:34] <ansiwen> hi, I'm just trying to write my own rules.pl so that a change needs two positive non-author reviews, one of which must be +2
[12:31:27] <ansiwen> I didn't want to use a custom label, and tried to code it into the Code-Review lable evaluation.
[12:32:16] <ansiwen> when I test the rule with ssh command "test-submit rule" everything works as expected
[12:33:20] *** plinio has joined #gerrit
[12:33:23] <ansiwen> but on the web UI the submit button appears, as soon as there is a single +2 review, although the test returns a NOT_READY status
[12:34:25] <ansiwen> when I press the submit button, there is a error, that it needs more codereview (which is correct according to my rules). Is there something hardcoded with the Code-Review label, that makes the submit button appear?

[16:48:15] <russoisraeli> hello folks. I have a problem getting LDAP groups to be recognized in my Gerrit installation. Users can login using LDAP auth via Gerrit just fine, and their details, such as full name and email show up. However, I cannot list LDAP group using the UI, and I cannot view LDAP group membership for users. I've traced the Gerrit LDAP calls, and it looks like it's getting the correct results from LDAP, so I am not sure what is wrong
[16:50:11] <russoisraeli> can I somehow increase log verbosity to see if i can catch the issue?

[16:56:53] <russoisraeli> maybe I am missing something... when I add ldap groups for access control using "ldap/groupname", Gerrit completes the available groups for me, so it's working!
[16:57:04] <russoisraeli> maybe it's not supposed to list LDAP groups???

[17:26:25] <russoisraeli> I guess I am OK with groups. Now, I need to dynamically create Gerrit user mappings from LDAP, primarily for the purpose of dynamically assigning users their SSH keys
[17:26:57] <russoisraeli> create account says that it doesn't ask LDAP... so I guess it creates a local user.... any way to dynamically populate Gerrit with LDAP users?

[19:23:32] <volker-> russoisraeli: yes, I never saw the members of an ldap group
[19:23:53] <russoisraeli> volker - I've read more docs, and i see that this is by design
[19:23:58] <russoisraeli> which is a bit annoying
[19:24:19] <russoisraeli> found the answer to my second question - can you "set-account" to import keys
[19:24:25] <russoisraeli> for ldap users

[19:25:44] <volker-> russoisraeli: set-account? you can automatically import them or do you have to run a script that does this via ssh ... gerrit set-account?

[19:30:01] <russoisraeli> volker - yeah - gerrit set-account is what i meant
[19:30:21] <volker-> can I overwrite the project owner for a repository that inherits the rights from the default allprojects permission?
[19:32:00] <pedahzur> the config file, I see nothing about git gc or garbage collecting; just a couple references the Java GC. Pointers?
