Later.[01:41:33] *** burris has joined #bittorrent[01:42:11] <K`Tetch> grr alright for some[01:42:27] <K`Tetch> I got a Q6600 last feb, so I'm good until 2015[01:42:51] <K`Tetch> blew my upgrade budget ($900) on two systems[01:42:56] <K`Tetch> rather than one[02:26:17] <The_8472> you clearly haven't experience the awesomeness of an i7[02:27:11] <The_8472> *experienced[02:33:34] <alus> I think Apple ensured I will not experience the awesomeness of an i7 for a while, with their discrete graphics swiching disaster[02:35:05] * DeHackEd has. 8 threads (4 hyperthreaded cores) and 6 gigs of RAM. It Is Awesome (tm)[02:40:59] <The_8472> don't use apples then ^^[02:41:17] <The_8472> run it on a hackbook[02:41:19] <The_8472> if you must[02:41:41] <alus> I don't want to use OS X paritcularly, the Apple laptops just seem to be nice machines[02:42:37] <alus> I would buy another Lenovo, but they started putting thick borders on their tiny screens.[02:45:14] <The_8472> apple laptops are meh, imo. glare display, the integrated graphics you mentioned, display miniport thingy...[02:45:22] <The_8472> their battery lifetime is good though[02:48:31] <alus> huh? they offer matte screens again[02:48:43] <The_8472> for the same price?[02:48:47] <alus> I believe so[02:48:53] <The_8472> well, that's an improvement i guess[02:50:01] <alus> I'll take the miniport thing if it saved them some room. I rarely plug in to a screen, and when I do it's only for connecting to my laptop. so I'll just attach the adapter to the screen and forget about it[02:51:19] <alus> ah, it's $50 for antiglare[02:51:25] <alus> and only on the 15 and 17[02:51:25] <The_8472> see?[02:51:33] <The_8472> and the adapter costs extra, doesn't it?[02:51:59] <alus> $29[02:52:20] <alus> if I could pay $29 to make my Lenovo thinner, I would certainly do that[02:52:25] <alus> so that seems reasonable[02:52:38] <alus> and if you offered me $50 to make my screen glossy, I would not take that[02:52:41] <The_8472> idk, thickness has neverbeen a problem for me[02:52:46] <The_8472> if anything it's only weight[02:53:05] <alus> they are somewhat related[02:54:15] <The_8472> do macbooks have a cd drive?[02:54:53] <The_8472> because that's something you could leave out if you really want to save weight or height[02:57:07] <Nolar> they do[02:57:15] <Nolar> maybe not the air[02:57:55] <The_8472> that's something i'd prefer to cut out over a proper DVI port[02:58:24] <The_8472> i use my BluRay drive once every blue moon[02:59:05] <alus> well I don't think stripping the dvd drive would save height[02:59:16] <alus> but I would take more battery instead of a dvd drive[02:59:29] <The_8472> that works too[03:00:20] *** Gottaname|Mobili has quit IRC[03:16:30] *** init0 has quit IRC[03:18:09] *** init0 has joined #bittorrent[03:53:02] *** ProperNoun has quit IRC[03:56:05] *** ProperNoun has joined #bittorrent[03:56:41] *** ProperNoun has quit IRC[03:56:41] *** ProperNoun has joined #bittorrent[04:04:12] *** The_8472 has quit IRC[04:07:31] *** The_8472 has joined #bittorrent[04:47:38] *** MassaRoddel has quit IRC[06:14:24] *** Switeck has joined #bittorrent[06:22:01] *** TheSHAD0W has quit IRC[06:25:09] *** goussx has quit IRC[06:27:07] *** edigaryev has joined #bittorrent[06:31:47] *** TheSHAD0W has joined #bittorrent[06:36:35] *** TheSHAD0W has quit IRC[06:40:28] *** TheSHAD0W has joined #bittorrent[06:53:52] *** goussx has joined #bittorrent[07:07:47] *** MassaRoddel has joined #bittorrent[07:21:01] *** NoodleDragon has joined #bittorrent[07:21:01] *** Kitsoran has quit IRC[07:21:03] *** NoodleDragon is now known as Kitsoran[07:21:57] *** ajaya has quit IRC[08:12:49] *** Kitsoran has quit IRC[08:19:31] *** ygrek has joined #bittorrent[09:03:43] *** ProperN[out] has joined #bittorrent[09:03:52] *** ProperN[out] has quit IRC[09:03:52] *** ProperN[out] has joined #bittorrent[09:07:13] *** ProperNoun has quit IRC[09:07:14] *** ProperN[out] is now known as ProperNoun[09:15:06] *** ygrek has quit IRC[09:24:34] *** Andrius has joined #bittorrent[10:36:26] *** burris has quit IRC[11:25:30] *** Switeck has quit IRC[11:34:01] *** demirulez has joined #bittorrent[11:35:49] *** BitTorrentBot has quit IRC[11:35:51] *** DeHackEd has quit IRC[11:38:11] <demirulez> Hi all, i don't know if this can be ot, i would like to know if you can suggest me some good manuals or guides, other than Wiki that explain the operating principles of bittorrent protocol because i want to do a thesis on it, thank you all[11:41:47] <jonasl> demirulez: http://bittorrent.org/beps/bep_0000.html[11:43:33] <IRConan> demirulez: the BEPS are what you need... Apparently the URL encoded data isn't a string so it doesn't help on hash searches
