[14:34:25] <Oebele> hi all, I got this bug, can't find a bug report for it, but wanted to check here if it was a known issue anyway: after using the generate menu (the one to generate constructors, getter, setters, etc), the keyboard cursor disappears and I can't do anything with the keyboard until I click in the window with the mouse.

[17:24:33] <sfisque> oebele i have not found that functionality either.  the only place i have seen it is in refactor method (you can change the stack variables types and names in the method call)
[17:26:18] <sfisque> i would guess that changing a random variable's type would be non-deterministic, and such not be very easy to auto-refactor (how would you change equations to prevent precision loss?  how do you infer the modifications when changing from numeric to boolen?  or from String to numeric (or vice versa)?
[17:26:34] <sfisque> the problem quickly spirals out of control as you explore it
[17:39:29] <sfisque> best bet, you can do a "find usages" and manually update every usage so that the equations are sane as well as redefine the variable.
