[01:02:13] <feivelfM> o/ hi all - i'm using createProcess to read the output of ag (silver searcher) in an hspec test and i find that hIsEOF, hGetLine etc all block indefinitely if i run the test with `stack test :my-test-targe` but run as expected if i run the test with `stack runhaskell test/Spec.hs`

[02:09:20] <neilh> Defragging an SSD is bad, because all it does is force the "bits" of the data to be moved around. SSDs do not store data contiguously, they purposefully store their data "sparsely" so that all cells of the drive get used in fairly even way to prevent early failure of the drive.

[21:33:28] <elcoc0> that's another circumstance, albeit not one I've ever happened upon really
[21:33:33] <elcoc0> the proof would go something like: identify e_x as error on x, e_y as error on y. Now we will investigate the multiplication error "e_m = x*y - (x+e_x)*(y+e_y)". In particular, we want constraints on e_x and e_y so that |e_m|< 10^k.
