[05:37:11] <ShaRose> I'm not sure if this is a dumb question or not, but I used to use 3.6 on my old install of windows. For a project, I have to use reflection to call some methods, and they were all flagged as unused so my cleanup wouldn't trim them out. Recently, I wiped my windows install and started fresh, this time using ninite to download eclipse, and so it got 3.7. I don't think I had any plugins...
[05:37:12] <ShaRose> ...specifically SuppressWarnings annotations (I think it was built in), but since I've started using 3.7 eclipse has been ignoring those annotations, and not flagging unused methods. Methods flagged correctly with @SuppressWarnings("unused") are flagged as not needed annotations, and unused methods are not getting flagged. All the methods in question are private static. Does anyone know why...
[05:37:14] <ShaRose> ...this seems to happen since I updated, or did I indeed get a plugin for this?
[05:37:22] <ShaRose> I was hoping that wouldn't be as long as it was :S
[05:38:53] <ShaRose> Oh, and note Clean Up with removed unused methods will still trim methods not flagged. I didn't notice it at first due to a bug with the reflection class I was using, and so I got rid of the unused annotations (I had been doing some restructuring, and some of them were indeed not required anymore).
[05:40:35] <ShaRose> Oh, as well this is in a new workspace, though it might be an error in that (I'm coding for minecraft / MCP if anyone is familiar with it), so if this is a workspace option please let me know (I wasn't able to find anything)

[11:11:12] <pulse00> what's the URL you can call the script via the browser?
[11:11:16] <Anticom> it's a simple xampp setup
[11:11:35] <Anticom> it's like localhost/mySubdir/mySubdir2/myFile.php
[11:12:16] <pulse00> okay, then you need to create a new run configuration. Do you see "PHP Web Page" in your run configuration dialog? if so, create a new one
[11:13:09] <pulse00> there you should see a "URL" section, which specifies the url the debugger will start when running the configuration

[17:22:13] <rcjsuen> You could try using the Juno site instead.

[17:47:09] <rcjsuen> danols: When you use 4.2M1?
[17:47:14] <rcjsuen> from the download page I linked to?
[17:47:27] <rcjsuen> mart: Think the term "train" is just saying "a lot of releases"
[17:47:35] <rcjsuen> a train with many carts of software being released at the same time
[17:48:13] <mart> Ah, OK. That makes sense. And each team has to prepare features in time, or they miss the train.

[17:51:24] <danols> rcjsuen: i'm confused -- I have 4.2M2 so if it doesn't install with 4.2M2 why would it work with 4.2M1 ?
[17:51:39] <rcjsuen> Or perhaps you could just get by even with 3.7/4.1, unless you need something fixed in DTP in the last week or whatever
[17:51:46] <rcjsuen> because, if my guess is right
[17:51:59] <rcjsuen> 4.2M2 includes newer code, but DTP has a version dependency on something lower
[17:52:08] <rcjsuen> this constraint is found and we prevent you from installing DTP
[17:52:10] <rcjsuen> because it is incompat
[17:52:44] <rcjsuen> This is like saying trying to use something coded for 1.0 on something that's 2.0. p2 sees a conflict and doesn't let you do it
[17:53:24] <danols> i understand now - would DTP be updated relatively soonish ?
[17:53:36] * danols I don't have a serious need at the moment for DTP
[17:53:44] <rcjsuen> I think Juno M2 is on the 30th
[17:54:23] <rcjsuen> we just put out 4.2M2 earlier this week but it'll be (in this case) about two weeks before all the other downstream components are good to go with synchronization/builds/etc
[17:55:00] <danols> rcjsuen: perfect -- thank you very much for taking time to clarify this

[18:35:53] <danols> do I create a new remote and pull from it ?
[18:38:22] <rcjsuen> danols: You can maybe ask in #github for clarification.
[18:38:33] <rcjsuen> Once you figure out how to do it from the command line you could try to figure it out from the Eclipse plug-in.
[18:38:44] <rcjsuen> (Since the plug-in cannot do everything the command line does actually)
[18:38:47] <danols> rcjsuen: good point
[18:38:49] <danols> I will ask
[18:39:17] <mart> danols: If you want to work with an existing repo, use git clone
[18:40:16] <mart> ... and (loosely speaking) the default remote will automatically be set to where you pulled from.
[18:41:20] <danols> mart: yes so I have my fork setup in eclipse now

[18:42:31] <danols> no I forked A and some other dude also forked A

[18:44:12] <danols> rcjsuen: cool that's what I though ok so I am making another remote but it's asking for RefMapping
[18:44:20] * danols googling it now
[18:44:33] <mart> danols: git remote add l3i git://github.com/l3i/django-ckeditor.git ; git fetch l3i

[18:45:44] *** gertidon has quit IRC

[18:46:53] <rcjsuen> You can add another remote from the 'Git Repositories' view.
