[17:42:49] <evilus> Anyone knows when eclipse 3.7.1 is due to be released ?

[21:29:00] <timotei> rcjsuen, paulweb515_ ok, so the problem was that the feature.xml was in the SAME project as the product

[21:29:17] <timotei> now it generates everything
[21:29:47] <timotei> but wow, it seems that the build.xml generated in the 2 cases are even different... by 14 kiloBytes
[21:29:50] <timotei> isn't that a bug?

[21:41:34] <Acidcrawl> Hello, I'm trying to use the SWT webbrowser component. I have gotten to the point where it will display a webpage, but if I close out of the application and go back into it the webpage will not come up, it just shows a grey screen. If I close down my IDE and go back in it seems to fix it. I suspect that I'm not destroying a variable or the SWT thread isn't getting killed. Any Ideas?

[22:05:15] <ikus060> rcjsuen : I've try to implement a ILazyTreeContentProvider or something, ans when I set the child count to 65000, then the UI tread hang for a long time.
[22:08:00] <ikus060> rcjsuen: after a look to the code, I notice the Tree.setItemCount(int) are creating 65000 "virtual" items which take time.

[23:37:18] <Dessimat0r> just make sure you don't use News of the World editor

[23:37:54] <Dessimat0r> ;)
[23:38:24] <Dessimat0r> what editors do you have to choose from?
[23:38:45] <Dessimat0r> Eclipse has editor plugins which register themselves with various content types, but there's a flexible matching system :)
[23:39:03] <herlimenezes> Well, I currently work with the default java editor...
[23:39:15] <herlimenezes> But I have never been asked for...

[23:40:58] <Dessimat0r> you can get a JSP editor as part of Eclipse Web Tools Project, but you've probably got that installed already
[23:41:03] <herlimenezes> What editor should I use for jsp? Isn't the standard one?
[23:41:05] <Dessimat0r> maybe you just need to update it
[23:41:18] <Dessimat0r> i don't think the standard editor works with JSP files, they're special :)

[23:43:38] <Dessimat0r> they should update the page
[23:44:02] <Dessimat0r> anyway, if your Eclipse is set up properly, you might just need to 'enable' the relevant update site

[23:44:26] <Dessimat0r> with regard to editors
[23:44:32] <Dessimat0r> you should have Java
[23:44:36] <Dessimat0r> but then there should be JSP
