[02:10:42] <hallowblitz> ok, now that it can see that folder has 1 file (the *.properties file) it added it into the root of the .jar but the classpath remained "." therefore my program does run, but I failed to do what I wanted, that is add the folder ".\translations\" to the classpath in the manifest file of the jar, so that I can add files outside of the jar
[02:11:08] <hallowblitz> it added the file to the root of the jar, not the entire folder btw
[02:11:58] <hallowblitz> so forget all that, how can I tell the manifest file inside the .jar to add a certain folder to the classpath ? that is, before I execute the exporting as .jar
[02:12:57] <hallowblitz> and, is it possible to Export->Java->JAR file (instead of runnable jar file, as above) and have this jar's manifest contain a classpath of "." (it has none) ?
[02:13:27] <UndefinedOffset> nitind: looks like its comming from createResolver() in ContributionContextTypeRegistry. Its calling resolver.setType(type); which internally checks to see if the fType is not null, but it is null for some reason even though in my class I'm passing the template code that I want to use back up to the parent constructor but it looks like this is supposed to be null according to line 169 of TemplateVariableResolver.class
[02:13:53] <hallowblitz> the problem is, that exporting as runnable jar exports all the project packages and stuff, but I rather export only a certain package but still retain the classpath of current folder, just as `export as runnable jar` does
[02:14:30] *** mertimor has joined #eclipse
[02:19:14] <hallowblitz> a side note, looks like moving or deleting files (that are not java files, in jdt btw) from class folders (ie. *.properties files instead of *.java files) make them disappear temporarily and require an F5 to refresh
[02:20:16] <hallowblitz> (that is, they remain after delete, and disappear after move)

[02:23:10] <hallowblitz> also, if I have two folders with the same named file, though different contents (two files with same name in diff folders that is) and I export as runnable jar, only one of those files will be in the jar and more specifically in the root (aka it has no parent folder) so the other file is just lost

[14:52:57] <lisak> it's m2eclipse bug possibly, there are all dependencies specified on the project's pom only on the classpath, but no inherited dependencies from parent projects
[14:54:04] <lisak> so that the classic maven inheritance paradigm doesn't exist when running eclipse Java command
