I got an intel graphics card and it works with ubuntu and win7. The Xorg log says "intel(0): failed to set cursor: Input/output error" ( other errors too, all with input/output error ) [22:38:00] <BigWookie> I tested several chromeos versions, some of them worked before, now none of them and I don't see any reason for it :/ Hardware fault seems the only option to me, but it works with other os'es [22:38:43] <zbehan> BigWookie: just curious, which chromium OS vanilla builds do you mean? hexxeh? [22:39:07] <BigWookie> yep( sorry, i know this is only one build ) [22:40:20] <BigWookie> It started with running Minecraft, I got it to work and played a few hours and it crashed, after that it never worked again and so does webgl [22:41:03] <BigWookie> Because it already worked I even used a different hard drive and completely new image ( one that worked before ) and the problem presists [22:42:18] <zbehan> BigWookie: so, a chromiumos image that worked before doesn't work now? perhaps a hardware problem? too much stress on the intel graphics burned a hole into it? [22:42:48] <BigWookie> that was my idea too, but it works everywhere else :S [22:43:23] <zbehan> BigWookie: i'm not sure if hexxeh's builds can be called vanilla, also, i think there's a hexxeh specific user channel, or at least ?#chromium-os-user?, this is a developer channel, and most developers are off for the weekend, so you may have more luck there if it's a problem for anyone else [22:44:27] <BigWookie> zbehan: It's not that I just wan't it to work, I wan't to know why it doesn't [22:45:18] <BigWookie> :/ And I would build my own images If I had 4gig ram [22:47:13] <BigWookie> I used the daily builds from the hexxeh website (which says they are auto pulled and build), the flow image is just a modified debian based distribution [22:53:23] *** Styx has joined #chromium-os [22:54:23] *** Fractal has joined #chromium-os [22:57:25] <Fractal> I?m trying to mount ROOT-B while using the Chrome OS which is on ROOT-A, and I get the error "EXT4-fs (sda5): couldn?t mount RDWR because of unsupported optional features (ff000000)" [22:58:15] <Fractal> I know ROOT-B is valid, because I can boot into it, and this is an official Chrome OS rootfs (and I don?t think that I changed something to it) [22:59:32] <Fractal> Do you know what this mean (and how I could make ROOT-B mountable)? [23:28:49] <Fractal> zbehan: There is an option to make_dev_ssd.sh to remove rootfs verification, and I already modified the rootfs of an official image a few days ago without problems [23:30:16] <Fractal> zbehan: now I removed rootfs verification on KERN-A, successfully mounted ROOT-B read-write, but now ROOT-B doesn?t boot ^^ [23:33:35] *** powderluv has quit IRC [23:33:58] <Hexxeh> vanilla builds are totally unmodified [23:33:59] *** powderluv has joined #chromium-os [23:34:00] *** ChanServ sets mode: +v powderluv [23:34:06] <Hexxeh> flow is just a really old modified built, still cros though [23:35:47] *** powderluv has quit IRC [23:43:34] <Fractal> If I am on ROOT-A and that there is an autoupdate in progress, is it safe to reboot on ROOT-B or will I have an half updated root file system?
